Universal Extraction System

The Concept Universal Extraction System has been supplied throughout the industry, primarily for when a customer has no other extraction system in their facility.

The Universal Extraction System has been designed with several variations to suit different machines and lab environments and is both easy to use and maintain, making it an ergonomic, practical and simple solution to customer fume extraction requirements.

Recommended for use with equipment to the following standards:

BS EN 1021 Parts 1 & 2:2006

    Specification & Features

Variable flow extraction hood, 0-500 m³/hour.

    Universal bench mounted cabinet.

Floor support framework also available as an option.

Not fully sealed, enabling free flow of air for fire experiments and to enable cables and pipes to enter.

Top has a stainless steel truncated hood with a variable speed exhaust fan exhausting with a Ø100mm duct connection.

Plain panels around back and sides.

    Hood measures approximately 1050mm (W) x 850mm (D) x 1300mm (H).

Variable speed extraction fan for when no other extraction system is present.

Effluent is fed into a 3m length of ducting that can be extracted externally or into a common extraction point in the facility.

Also available is a wall mounted hood only, with or without fan and controller with a Ø100mm, 3m long extract duct.

For Non-Fan options, there installations allow ducting to be connected into existing laboratory extraction systems.

For this configuration, we would recommend a damper valve into the duct to enable flow control for the extraction.

    Technical Data & Requirements
