SSTF – Steady State Tube Furnace Apparatus – ISO/TS 19700
ISO/TS 19700
Steady State Furnace Apparatus – SSTF is primarily used to determine the fire behaviour of substances, materials or their combinations. It is a test method for the generation of fire effluent of various materials and the identification and measurement of its constituent combustion products.
This apparatus is built according to the many meetings and discussions with Professors Anna Stec, Richard Hull and David Purser over the past 10 years and is generally compliant to ISO/TS 19700, although imminent unpublished changes are also accommodated.
